This has been our family home for over 50 years and we honestly could not have had a happier place to grow up. The area has everything you could need for any family. At the end of the road, you have a range of shops, a local library and medical centre, the ice rink where we spent Friday and Saturday evenings with our friends. There are good schools and sixth form venues. We have spent many happy hours at Elmdon and Jubilee Parks and slightly further out you have Sheldon Country Park and Brueton Park near Solihull town. If you want to go further afield, transport links whether by car or public transport are excellent. You can pick up buses straight into Solihull or Birmingham within a short walk, there is a train station and even the airport a short drive away.
The house itself is a great family space. The front of the living room gets the sun in the morning, the back part and conservatory get the sun in the afternoon. The large space makes is great for gatherings and celebrations. The kitchen is a good size and looks out onto the garden. Upstairs, the bedrooms are all big enough to deal with whatever teenagers might bring or would make nice studio or office spaces.
The garden was our parent’s pride and joy. It has seen swing sets, play tents, paddling pools and plenty of pets. It is safe and secure and is now a nice mix of low maintenance but with plenty of interest. As it gets the sun throughout the afternoon it is a lovely place to sit in the evenings and relax with friends and family.
The house has seen children appear, grandchildren and even great grandchildren. It is now ready for a new family to make their own memories in it.
